Dr. Anish Bajaj Presents-Understanding the Chiropractic position in the Opioid Crisis: A Review of Chiropractic and Addiction Science.
Come to the District 5 meeting and learn how we, as a profession, can maintain our integrity and uphold our Philosophy in an expanding role that can
reshape healthcare in New York. The Opioid Crisis has gained a lot of attention as a public health issue as well as for Chiropractors who are sought out for
chronic pain solutions. The presentation features addiction science in a way that is clinically relevant for the chiropractor. As we take another look at the chiropractic
and addiction sciences, we can begin to understand a little more of the role of the chiropractor in prevention, management and recovery from opioid addiction.
Dr. Bajaj is currently a Council Executive Officer. He is a certified Electromyographer as well as an ongoing student of Neuroscience.
